...a concert he cancelled? a good seat at a concert you couldn't get? a TV program that you missed, an album you couldn't buy?

Share your experiences.

For me it was in the middle 80's. There was huge antecipation every time he was going to release a new video. At about the time he shot Say Say Say, the TV of my house broke and I couldn't watch his videos for months. It was frustrating.

my is from when I was 16 years old. My parents had always promised me and my sister a holiday to Disneyland in Florida. At the beginning of 1992 my parents finally said that we would be going to Disney that summer. Well you can imagine how excited I was, our first family holiday abroad and to Disney. Afew weeks later I found out that Michael would be playing Dublin during the Dangerous tour. Well I dont know which I was more excited about, Disney or Michael. By this stage my parents had booked the holiday, so I could hardly wait until the tickets went onsale for the concert. At the last minute my parents said I couldnt get a ticket as the concert was on the day we were flying to Florida!!!!
omggggg, I couldnt believe it, finally after years and years of waiting Michael was coming back to Ireland and I couldnt go. After that I made a promise to myself that I would do what ever it takes to see Michael

Oooooh I hear THAT!

Obv the trial ... and any time lies are told about him that you can't stop - like the boo-ing at the WMAs which wasn't how it was reported or shown on the TV afterwards! Pants!

For me personally it was prolly the March London visit last year! It was really the first time there was real animosity in the air between 'groups' of fans ... and no matter how much we did as we were told by security etc, we were the ones getting blamed for the security breaches! Grrrrrrr!

Ooooh, the worst thing (just remembered!) was when a group of fan chums and I went to Italy for the Pavarotti and Friends show - our flight was cancelled so we took a 2 day detour around Europe via every conceivable means of transport to get there for the show. Queued for 40hours in the sweltering heat, to find out the next morning that he cancelled cos Prince was ill (not helped by the fact the Italian security guy translated Pavarotti's speech to us saying Prince had DIED!) But we had the Munich MJ & Friends show to look forward to 6 weeks afterwards but for a personal reason (which I have regretted ever since! Grrrrrrrr!) I couldn't go, despite having a ticket, paying for my hotel and flights! And he was soooooo HOTTTTTT!

Oh, and I was also at the cancelled Ostende HIStory show the day that Princess Diana died!

Damn it! Don't ever go anywhere with ME! I'm bad luck! LOL!

Not becoming a fan until everyone I know in person hated him....then being beat up and hated and shunned for it....
BUT I WON'T GIVE IN...You can't forget that which saved your life...literally....

Not ever taking a chance to goto NL when it was open to people, not going to see him, never writing him or sending him Bday gifts. The trials really, really pissed me off too, as well as the fans that swore he was either guilty or could be.
