Looking for a General Discussion Moderator!

Hi Members,

As the forum is growing, it is important to provide suitable support to keep the board running smoothly. This being the case, MJJB is looking for a new moderator.

The chosen member, will be able to moderate all sections but should also focus mainly on General Discussion and the surrounding Michael Jackson forums.

We are looking for a member that can be active, logging in at least 3 times a week, and who is approachable and friendly.

Please apply for the position in this thread before the 24th January.

I'm on at least once a day to read and reply :yes: (although it is slightly shorter time periods until the 29th because of my exams :lol:, after that I'll be here all the time!) I always wanted to be a mod on an important MJ fansite because I like helping. I'm friendly, approachable, fair and firm.
And I'd really love to help with this site.

Edit: I'd rather just be a normal mod, because I spend more time in O/D. :yes:

wow just like mjno! :laugh: well, claire, you can add my name to the list...i have loads of free time and this spring i will be fully retired *i can explain all that in a pm*, so no husband, no kids, no work and no school...i have no outside obligations and can pretty much come by every day. but one request: if i am considered, i will need between a 1-2 week break once i get my settlement so i can move to arizona...this will be sometime in spring...

Hello MJJBoard Team,

My Name is Julian and I am from Germany. I want to say, that it would make me
happy to be part of the Community. I am 17 years old and my hobbies are: Art,
music (michael) and Piano. I play piano since i am 4. I love to play Michael-Songs.

I am active in the german michael jackson board "MalibuFanclub" since 2005 and
one year later in "MJNO". In both board I was online every day (bout 2 hours per day).

I am also active in the board "king-of-the-dance-floor" run by Ashley and LC.
Before they closed the forum last year i was also a moderator for the media-section there.
(btw: they opened the board again!!)

I have a job ( im working in office) from monday to frieday. I start working
at 8:00 am and it ends 17:00 pm. (I got a break of 1 hour every day). And I
even use my break to go online in the forums for about 15 minutes. ^^

That Means i would have time to be active here:

Monday: between 18:00 pm - 20:00 pm
Tuesday: between 18:00 pm - 20:00 pm
Wednesday: between 18:00 pm - 20:00 pm
Thursday: between 17:00 pm - 20:00 pm
Frieday: betwenn 13:00 pm - 22:00 pm (or later...)

Saturday: i think mostly the whole day *lol*
Sunday: about two hours

I would love to be a moderator on this new forum.

Obviously there are plenty of members who have expressed their interest in this and I am sure that they would all do very well. But I think I would be a fantastic moderator because I feel I am very approachable and I am usually on the computer everynight which means I would be able to log on here more than 3 times a week.

I feel I can control the forum, and provide knowledgable advice to members on what is wrong to post aswell as keeping order and fun within the forum :) I think I would be a great addition to the team as I am [b]very[b] friendly and extremely approachable.
