OK here comes a question that me and my friend talked on MSN.... I asked if him if he ever gets annoyed if someone changes a channel in a middle of a commerical you never have seen with Michael or anything newly produced with Michael?
I do, I get so annoyed and I get so bloody mad if someone decides to let the hand slip on another channel in the middle of something new with Michael.
That happened to me a couple of days ago, the commerical for Michael's Thriller 25 was showing on tele and my friend "accidentally" changed channel, I just yelled back to him to put it back on and he was all teasing with me saying "Why are you so mad"........
:homer: Well guess why? Idiot.....

I never get annoyed. For 2 main reasons:
I will be probably taping it
and
They very rarily show anything Michael Jackson related in my country any more.
Let me tell you America absolutely sucks when you are a Michael Jackson fan. Because they never show any good MJ specials any more. Last time I remember them showing a good MJ special here in my country. Was when Michael was showing his home movies. Which I am very glad I have on tape.

People know better than to change the channel if Michael is on. They know what's gonna happen if they do.

You guys are so damn lucky to live in a country that loves Michael. Where his and my own country hates him. I sometimes wish I had enough money so I can move out of my stupid horrible country. And move to a country that is always showing MJ specials on tv.

What commercials? The last time I saw an MJ related commercial on American tv was during the begining of the Invincible era. Just to promote the album. I haven't seen an MJ related commercial since.

Superbowl commercial...
Grammy's commercial...
Access Hollywood positive exclusives...
America doesn't hate Michael that much. What about T25 being the #2 top selling album in its debut week?
And yeah, I'd be a little peeved. :homer:

Well I didn't know that about Thriller because I never follow what goes on with Billboard. Whats the point when today's music sucks big time. I mostly only listen to Bollywood or 80s music any more. And as for those commercials never saw any of those commercials. Only because I hardly ever watch the channels that those commercials might have been shown on. I am always watching either the HIStory, Discovery related channels, Food Network, HG TV, or PBS related channels. I have yet to see an MJ related commercial on those channels. Most of the shows on the main channels absolutely sucks any more. Which is why I am always watching either those channels that I had listed or my taped shows.

But if they didn't...."TURN IT BACK! I WAS WATCHING MJ, STUPID"
That phrase has me written all over it....

No one dare does that to me :homer: .
Haha but no, really, I never watch the TV, but when I do, it's usually for something I NEED to see, such as something MJ related, so they don't change it.

They were talked about endlessly on this board. You seem to be here a lot, so I don't know how you missed it.
There aren't MJ commercials on the History and Discovery channels because stereotypically it doesn't seem like the right target audience.
Plus, it wasn't Billboard, as I don't follow it either. It was, again, posted on here...

Er it's just an advert. And adverts are repeated.
If it was an accident, why get so angry?
Man, and I thought I was obsessed with Michael.
EDIT: But if it isn't just an advert, like a documentary on him, then yes I would go mad. UNLESS the channel was changed by mistake.
Anyway my family love Michael & know by now, not to ever do that.
In fact when ever Michael is on TV or in the paper, news etc... I receive so many phone calls & textes. Plus my parents always tell me if MJ is on.

I hate it when people purposefully talk over the TV or whatever if MJ is on or the people on TV are talking about him or whatever. If it's an accident or not intended, then I just tell them to shh and they usually get the message
