I saw this thing on some show David Letterman or some guy I don't really watch ever...but Richard Simmons was on it (LOL) and he had to sell this thing....and it blew up and he jump back in the air...kept patting down his hair, and then he screamed "I FELT LIKE MICHAEL JACKSON!!!" (pepsi commercial reference for those of us with slower minds )

This thread deserves a huuuuuuge bump!
I posted SO many on the MJNO thread. I'll repost them sometime.
I just wanted to say that Sunday's episode of The L Word (stateside) will have a scene using J5 music (i think it's I Want You Back or it could be ABC, can't remember, I watched it last night and I'm at work so I don't have sound on).
The L Word (Season 5 Episode 5) - Featuring The Jackson 5 (http://link.brightcove.com/services/link/bcpid1304957288/bclid1393777861/bctid1393808355)

This morning on gmtv. They had David Jordan on, and said people are calling him Britains answer to Justin Timberlake. Then Kate the presenter said it's funny how they get these references because, Justin Timberlake was the American new Michael Jackson, and that Michael Jackson was the new Frank Sinatra .

There's this movie....no idea what it was, I was flipping channels....and this guy wore a smooth criminal suit and the hat and everything....I dun think he had spats tho....and that freaked me out enough but when it started saying lines from dangerous I flipped :lol2: "They came at me in sections" "the girl was bad, the girl was dangerous...."
anyone know what movie that was and which way the inspiration went? Cuz that seriously couldn't be a coincidence....

Some of those references are just .
Not good!! :no2:
Anyway, I've got one.
There's a very popular program in the main TV station here in my country and the main music of the program (you know, when it's starting?) is this little bit from Don't Stop 'Till You Get Enough.
It's funny 'cause it's so associated with this program that I didn't know it was from Michael. And then when I first heard DSTYGE years ago I was like "Heeeeeey!! :homer:"

Beverly Hills Cop, where Axel Foley rocks up to some hotel claiming to be in town to interview michael jackson. In a later scene 2 guys in the street are wearing thriller jackets and he cracks up laughing.
A couple of episodes of south park, including the 'pinkeye' one where chef leads some zombies in the thriller dance. Also a not nice reference to mj by an audience member of Jesus and pals in some other episode.
In the opening scene of the first episode of Queer as Folk the main characters are at a club and the song is 'can u feel it'. In the second season (i think) Michael tries to win back his boyfriend Ben by singing 'Ben' to him in a kareoke bar thingy (so cute!) When Emmett is considering having a butt lift  there is some line that mentions mj, i cant remember the exact quote tho
At the end of an episode of Cold Case, they used Man in the Mirror as the finishing song.
The Simpsons episode where Bart sells his soul to Milhouse, he says that a soul is just something that parents made up to scare children, along with the boogie man, and michael jackson :toofunny:
I was in Target the other day and there was some kid trying to choreograph a dance, or something and he's taking his friend thru the steps. Eventually he goes, "...and then i'll spin round like michael jackson..." And he spins round, sees me standing behind him and runs away  Kids just love me

Richie Rich when they blow the nose off one of the faces on Mount Rushmore! (naughty Mack!)
Gorillaz video for Clint Eastwood is Thriller parody.
There was a video last year with the guy in a studio singing in a Thriller jacket - can't remember the song (possible the one that goes My girl likes to party all the time, party all the time, party all the tiiiiiime
The Beatfreakz videos!
The beginning of The Goonies (GREATEST FILM EVEEEERRRR!!!!) when Chunk says about Michael using his toilet!

There's an episode of Animaniacs where Buttons and Mindy are surrounded by zombies. Buttons breaks a glass saying "Break In case of undead" and smokes comes out. He comes out dressed like Michael from Thriller. He starts dancing and leads the zombies into a tomb where he locks the door on 'em.

Missy Elliott Feat. Ludacris, 'Gossip Folks' - that funny bit about "I don't even care about her being pregnant by Michael Jackson"
HAHA I LOVE THAT PART. They're so serious sounding, lol.
Well obviously, Rihanna's 'Don't Stop The Music' sampled WBSS.
When I saw the Spice Girls live, they did a celebration medley, and 'Shake Your Body Down To The Ground' was one of the songs they did :D
