Religion & Politics sub-forum in The Lounge

I brought this up in the recently created Religion, Morality, Ethics and Logic (debates etc) thread and a lot of people responded favourably. I just think the debates that go on in The Lounge (which are mainly of religious and political nature) are too frequent to be confined to a thread. This thread will be 50 pages long by the end of the week. While I think it's a good idea to confine religious discussion, I think a sub-forum would be more suitable than a thread. So I'm suggesting a Religion & Politics sub-forum. What do you think?

I think a religious and politics subforum is a little too off topic for what should be first and foremost a Michael Jackson board.

The Lounge is not really that active or cluttered, We barely go over a page of threads a day and I don't honestly see a need for a subforum of this kind.

These kind of threads when made here tend to just end up with the same old arguments after a few pages, I can see a subforum ending up just being thread after thread of repetitive disagreements between members. Jumping between each thread until they all lose their main focus.

It is good to see some actual serious threads in The Lounge, if we made a subforum for this I think we'd end up with just light hearted topics and I think a mix is a better idea.

hey, i'm all for this but i will say this is the kind of things that usually spawns a forum split.
