I would not consider it his "comeback" song. It is Akons song. Great song though .

I think it is a great song to get him out there
This song sounds like it might be used for a good purpose... like a song to heal the world.

:) Yeah, I think it is a great song just to put him out there, and get the public to hear him before he does his own thing. And I wouldn't consider it a "comeback" song either.. I just see it as a little teaser of whats to come. The song has a great message also, and it's catchy, it would be stuck in everyones heads. :toofunny:

I can't vote because I haven't even heard the song yet. In fact I didn't even know the song was already out. Ok so I'm a little bit behind on my MJ news. You can blame my stupid internet service for that.

I don't consider it as a 'comeback' song - hopefully Michael has something fierce in store for us. ;):crazylol:

It may show that he's still out there (in the music stuff) but i don't think anyone is going to really get into him because of it...'specially since it's really only ft. MJ anyway.

I think its a good warm up song. I mean if a few lines can make people go this crazy, imagine what a whole song will do!!

Nah. It's Akon's song not Michael's. But he did good in it nevertheless.:)

Nah, it's Akon's song not MJ's, like many people have already said. Michael only sings a few lines and it doesn't really let people see the best of his capability. I do have some friends that love the song though so maybe I think it does appeal to people that aren't hardcore MJ fans.
By the way, does anyone know who wrote this song?

Claude Kelly wrote the song. Link here. (http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003824224)
And yes it's Akon's song , but I think they did a great job in it. :) Hopefully it will be released..

I was fortunate to hear "Hold my Hand" just per chance while browsing through MJ's music on You Tube

I love all his music ... so yes I enjoyed hearing his voice again in something new.
Strange how his voice just gives one the chills... very special indeed !!!
:victory::victory:
But hey when I looked for it again it was just gone. So glad I heard it that one special moment.

I don't consider it a comeback song because it's an Akon song, anyway it's good to hear is voice singing something new not only for us fans but for the pubblic in general. Michael needs another kind of song in order to make the pubblic understands who really is the king of pop.

Agreed!
It's a good song! But it's deffo not his comeback... It's just Akon's possible new single. :dontknow:
The really special ones are yet to come!! ;)

I also voted "no" because i think Michael should have a "strong" song for comeback,i don't say i don't like the song cause i do..but its too "shy" for a public impact.Anyway, i hope Michael would make a song to shut haters mouth about his past problems.(?)Oh Michael,if you read this,do what your heart tells you and not Akon or Ne-yo!

I don't think the song is all that good for Michael if I'm honest. It's good for Akon, but not for Michael.

I really like the song as a collaboration... but it's not a "comeback" song. It's not his song.
I guess it's a nice way to get people hearing him again and hearing that he's just as talented as before and he can still hit the notes. However, I know when he does release something new on his own it will BLOW us AWAY! That will be his comeback single. Not this. :)

I just hope MJ's new album isn't gonna be full of naff collaborations. He just needs to work on his own.
All these collabs with z rate stars are pretty pitiful.

well considering the song is an Akon song how can it be classed as a comeback song. so the question is redundant and should be asked when mj releases his own new single from a new album or other releases
All these collabs with z rate stars are pretty pitiful.
what one collab. thats hardly "all these" probably done in return for WBSS 08

No I dont think it will be a great Comeback song, it's gd though but has more Akon vibes in it. Michael needs to work by him self on a song that he writes and arranges the music, like in the early days then he wud come back with a great song that will truly rock the world, trust me:)
