For everyone who still doubt about Latoya's credibility you have to see this, I literally started to cry when I heard this story..... it's so touching and I did give Latoya a hard time back in the past before I knew how everything was like.

I heard about that story before, everyone has a sad story, some just worse then others.
I never dislike her even when she did come out with all that stuff, she is Michaels sister no matter what, you can t dislike her.

Yeah, what happened to La Toya was horrible. That man was a complete control freak who took his need for power waaaay overboard. If people would just listen to her and what she has to say, they'd understand why she did what she did back in 93, but no, some people refuse like stubborn idiots :rolleyes:.

Luckily though, the abuse didn't seem to ruin La Toya's spirit, she's still as sweet as ever, and seems to be very happy these days :happy:. Love her :wub:.

She had a really tough time of it and in hindsight I can see why she did and said what she did during that in regards to Michael and other members of the family, she was being controlled to such an extreme extent any one would have done the same thing if you were that terrified.

What happened has made her a much stronger person and she has such a positive spirit.

Yes, this is horrible, but not uncommon. Is enough to go to some russian women forum who got married to foreigners and moved to other country, the stories are somehow similar - locked, not allowed to do, go, work where she wanted, meet who she wanted, had to do only what he said, dress like he said and so on, work and bring all money and give it away all to him or she works and he gets all money for it. Men who are control freaks like making home slaves out of women. And only mentioning police helps. And forget all this usa media political propaganda that american men who got married to russian/ukrainian/east european/etc. woman got deceived in money issues by her and then left alone, in most cases - this is vice a versa, woman - is a victim and it's not how the man wanted to present it to the media, there is another side of a medal.

I've always felt bad for LaToya - she had no choice but to say the things she did back in '93. She appeared on 'The Devil's Advocate' in late '93 with her 'husband' in the front row and when she was saying stuff about Michael you could just TELL she didn't believe or mean a word she was saying and at the end he smugly applauded from the front row & you could tell something wierd was going on then ...

She's an inspiration really - to face something like that (in front of the world) and to be really condemned by a lot of people for actions that weren't her fault, and then to bounce back and find happiness ... she's a tough cookie and still looking beautiful in her 50s! :)
