Ne-yo's ripping of Michael's dancing...

Im in between. I appreciate and love that he is always so vocal about his loving MJ.. but then when I watch a video and from beginning to end ALL he is doing is MJ moves.. yeah thats a bit pathetic to me. Mix it up a bit for goodness sakes...he just takes it too far sometimes.. doing MJ moves in videos down to his very body-language is too much. Id like to see him be more like Chris Brown.. who has his OWN unique style and throws in some MJ moves sometimes.

Ne-Yo himself admits that he can't dance and that he is not a dancer... but whatever move he does is ALL MJ. Not even disguised lol It's a blatant MJ move.

He's a talented writer, I like Ne-Yo. Obviously he is inspired by MJ. The thing that would irritate me is people watching him not knowing that that is an obvious Michael Jackson move lol

EDIT: I wouldn't think anything of it, if Michael was making music as frequent as Ne-Yo and the like were. He isn't, so it can be very slightly annoying, purely because of the fact that the original guy should be around!

I agree with keepthefaith & CrisU.
He gets on my nerves. I don't like him. at all. That's just my opinion though. "sexy love" is the only song I've liked of him. And omg, look at his music videos?? it's just MICHAEL all over it! He does copy a bit TOO much, there's a fine line when you're an artist when it comes to copy someone and try to... you know..do your own thing AND be inspired by others. it's like 85-90 % of what he does is totally MJ style. The billie jean jacket, moves, hat, gloves, the thing he does with his mouth..the Mj pout..
I like chris brown better. If I had to choose.

Me too. Especially those dumb young kids who hardly know about MJ and think they know it all. It's annoying.

I dont like the word ripping-off. Because that isnt how i see it at all. I see it more as showing respect to his idol, which we all know he is :yes:
