Thoughts on I'll Be There?

I absolutely love this song. It's one of my fave slow songs from the old days.

However for some reason, I actually prefer listening to it when he performs it later on, like at the history concert. I think the change in his vocal abilities makes it sound so much better. :wub:

Ooh this is the most beautiful song! :wub: And yeah he sounded amazing singing it in his history concerts etc but at the minute im loving his stuff from his J5 days and i looove his voice back then, he sounds so cute!! :crazylol: His voice was so smooth and seamless, even way back then :wub: I want to pinch his cheeks everytime i hear that song lol (on his face i mean... :whistle:)

Yeah it's definitely the best version of them all. I wish there was a recording of him singing I'll Be There accompanied by a piano the way it is in that pepsi ad. Amazing stuff - gives me goosebumps every time.

I couldn't agree more.

Last year I hadn't watched any MJ stuff for so long I decided to watch Dangerous: Short Film, when it got to I'll Be There I was left stunned :ohmy: I forgot how powerful the song was. It gave me goosebumps too.... I believe I may have shed a wee tear.

I also love it preformed in live too, especially towards the end with the call and response vocals.
