Some faint before he even MOVES. He's just standing on stage, and people fainting. I saw some man faint in a wheelchair. :|

I remember watching concerts on TV and there really were many girls that fainted. It looked like those old rock and roll times when girls used to faint for Elvis Presley or the Beatles.

Isn't it more to do with being dehydrated  And like not eating or drinking and being over heated  Rather than Michaels hotness?
*bursts everyones bubble*

It has alot to do with many things. People are bunched together their hot, dehydrated, and tired in that huge crowd so yea. Plus people get overwhelmed by whole thing of Michael Jackson being in their presence. But Ive heard him say theres over 5,000 faints every concert in that one special on his private home videos....

I dont know if there could be 100 people fainting during that concert...cause they edited plenty of scenes from other concerts into the Bucharest one,its not hard to find some same faces in the crowd in the reports and clips of other concerts from Dangerous tour, say, Wembley.

it got really crazy near me at the wma's. Most of the people around me had been queuing for over 12 hours, we had hardly eaten all day and it was soo airless in the are they had us queuing. During Rihanna was the worst , about 10 or more people were pulled out of the crowd and that was just around me!! the were handing out water but it wasnt enough and like Barbie said, most of the people who faint , its because of lack or food, water sleep and the fact that by the time the concert starts the people at the front have been queuing for many mnay hours. Put all of this together and the excitment and crazyness at a concert and the fact that you are being squashed and probabbly cant breathe right, is it any wonder people faint and get pulled out of the crowd!!
btw the people who get pulled out get taken to the first aid area at the edges of the arena. If they are ok they can watch the rest of the concert from the first aid area but they dont get taken backstage to meet Michael and they lose thier place at the barrier etc

Say the average number of people attending each concert during History tour was about 55,000...so it means one eleventh fainted during every concert LOL

Haha yes, I nearly fainted at Dangerous & History.
We were so squashed and hot, plus in shock I guess, that we were so close to MJ.

I have no idea, but I'm sure that many, many faint.
Poor people, I pity them. I think they're so crowded, they can't even breathe, that's why they faint.
