MJJB has released a brand new credit and shopping system.

Credits

Your credit total will increase dependent on certain activity and things you do around the board. Here is a list of ways you can gain points. I won't tell you how many points each option will give you but remember some may also decrease your total!

Induction Credit
Applied when user first joins this usergroup such as by registration, subscription, manually, etc.

Referral Credit
Applied when a referral is validated. This is checked every midnight.

Activity Credit
Applied every set time period if the user qualifies as having been active during that period.

Birthday Credit
Applied at midnight on the birthday of each user.

New Thread Credit

Posting Credit
Applied for all valid posts, except when creating a new thread or replying to your own thread.

Your Thread Posting Credit
Applied for all valid posts made in a thread which they originally created.

Post Size Credit
Applied in addition to any posting credits, for every word or character.

Your Thread Viewed Credit
Applied to the thread owner when their thread is viewed. Does not count on the owner, and can be set to not count for guests either.

Your Thread Replied Credit
Applied to the thread owner when their thread is posted in. Does not count on the owner.

Your Profile Viewed Credit
Applied to the profile owner when their profile is viewed. Does not count on the owner, and can be set to not count for guests either.

Poll Created Credit

Poll Voted Credit

Attachment Credit
Applied when uploaded.

Profile Picture Credit
Applied when a profile picture is added.

Profile Fields Credit
Applied when the user has enough custom profile fields filled out.

Right, so now you know the ways to obtain credit what else is there?!

Donate Credit

Do you feel a little bad seeing some of your pals with small totals? Then pass on some of your credit to them as a gift! It's a fun and simple thing to do and you can donate as much as you like. Just visit the Donations & Lottery option in your usercp or alternatively click here.

You will also see on the same page a list of our top 20 'richest' members!

But wait there's more!

Lottery

On the exact some page, from time to time, you will see the option to enter a lottery. This is exactly how it sounds. Simply give up a set amount of your credits, and you will be entered into the draw for the chance to earn the stated jackpot! So watch out for the lottery announcements.

Oh yes and one more thing to add about the credits before we move on.

Banking

You also have the option to 'bank' some credits. It works exactly like a normal savings bank account! So don't spend away all those credits. Stick some in the bank to earn that all important interest! Visit the bank by clicking here or again visiting your usercp. (Please note there is a loan system option displayed but this is currently disabled.)

Now moving on...

Gift Shop

Wondering what you can do with all these credits?!

Take a look at our custom made gift shop! (Link can also be reached via community dropdown menu at the top of the forum) Here is your chance to either purchase items for your greedy selfs or why not take the opportunity to send gifts to other members. We have a whole heap of stuff to buy and many more things to add in the future, so go check it out.

Your gifts will show up in your profile and alongside your posts. But be warned, stock is limited and some credit prices are steep, so be sure to get your hands on those exclusive items quickly!

Oh and if you like an item, why not give it a review? Or perhaps you don't like it, still rate and comment anyway!

Well actually no! In the next few days, I have a special extra treat for the donators and competition winners. A feature that will enable them to purchase even more things with their credits. So watch this space!

New Feature for Donators

What else can you spend your credits on?

Try out our Egg an Avatar feature!

Glance to the bottom left of every post and next to report post, you will see the egg icon. When you click on this, you will be presented with a number of things you can throw at that particular members avatar. Choose an option, click throw at the bottom, and it will immediately show up over that member's avatar.

Each throw will cost you 200 credits, and you may only throw a maximum of 3 items on one members avatar at a time. The items will fade after a certain number of hours of being thrown unless that particular member cleaned it off.

You may also throw cleaning items at your own avatar, by finding any one of your posts and clicking the egg there. You will then be presented with all the cleaning products. Each item will cost you 100 credits.

Lastly, all members, including non donators/competition winners, have the ability to see who egged them (last 20 items) via their usercp or by clicking here.
