Teddy Riley Article on Michael

Teddy Riley, the father of “New Jack Swing” recalls his time with the “King of Pop.”

It's kinda a few months old, but I think it's still worth reading

Oh and here is a video of what he thought about his parenting skills:

He seemed to be another good, supportive friend to Michael. I'm glad to find out that he could at least count on a few good people in his life.

I liked what Teddy said in that video regarding Michael and his parenting. I hope more people learn of that.

But didn't he say something about Remember The Time being written about Debbie Rowe?

Here's the link:

I wrote 'Remember the Time' when Michael [Jackson] told me about falling in love with [Debbie Rowe], the woman he just married. I don't know why he didn't marry her the first time around.[source: Los Angeles Times ; December 1996)

That is weird because I feel like Michael wasnt in love with Debbie Rowe, but I could be completely wrong. Anyway, I like Teddy he always had MJ's back.

Michael giggled talking about that time the anvil case fell on him during the first recording session for the song Dangerous while in court in '94.
From Michaels recollection it did fall on him "It hurt, but I didn't realize how much it hurt me until the next day" sounding all cute and giggly.
He also said that the incident was caught on tape "It's pretty much on tape. If you play the demo of us working on Dangerous it was even recorded because..you know, it's there." If that's it just as the demo begins, he didn't sound as high pitched as Teddy recalls. To me anyways, but it did sound distant.

I've always loved that song 'Joy' too! I remember the music video was really sweet.
Michael would have taken that track to another level! No pun intended, that's the name of Blackstreets 2006 album.

awwwww.. i love Teddy Riley! the last part made me sad. i need that song in my life and the title of that song is 'JOY'.

can anybody post a link to that song? i'm intrigued by that song. if it meant a lot to Michael then it has to be a beautiful song.

if i was Teddy Riley and i had lost someone as close to me as Michael i probably would have been bed ridden for a month.

I'm so proud to say I Love You, MJ!

thanks to steady-laughing.com for my siggy.
