Avatar director James Cameron said he has a new admiration for trees and he’s getting a lot of credit for the special effects that created the amazing fantasy world of Pandora in his record-setting blockbuster movie.
But long before Cameron brought us Avatar, Michael Jackson wrote “Earth Song” and performed in the accompanying video to urge us to stop destroying our environment.
Before he died in June, Michael had a mini-film created for “Earth Song” that was to be shown during his “This Is It” tour in London that never took place because of the pop star’s fatal doctor-induced prescription drug overdose.
Now, MJ’s “Earth Song” film will be shown at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday for the show’s first-ever 3-D performance.

I saw Avatar, I thought of Earth song from this is it and then some weeks later my mom saw the movie with my brother and during the movie she was whispering to my brother, this is just like Earth song =P

I love that video or everything I've seen so far =) Will probably get a little emotional when I see it =(

I have not seen ava, but saw the traller for it, when I went to go see This Is It.
I looked ok, but did not look like a "blockebuster" to me.

the entertainment channels said it made more that titanic because cost for movie tix went up since then. but more people actualy went to go see titanic,
