MJ is my favorite artist HANDS DOWN..I grew up with this man and I feel like I have known him all of my life..His music and talent is on another level and imo no one comes close..I listen to other artists as well..Janet is my 2nd favorite (I prefer her older stuff)..and just like MJ, I grew up on her music..

Yes he is definitely my favorite artist. He is the only one who i don't skip over songs when they play. I honestly love all of the albums in their entirety. I don't know of any other artist that I feel that way about.

There are many many other artists I really appreciate, but Michael is just on a different level. It's not just about the music, it's also about the dance, about the man he was (I hate using the past, I hate it) and about my childhood memories.
I love the music of a lot of people at the same level of Michael's (but not in the "pop" area... he's just the greatest there - I'm intending "pop" in a very wide definition) but I don't care about them on a personal level, they as persons do not mean anything to me. Of course I hope they're fine! But I do not feel empathy for almost none of them.
