~ REVISED 22nd MARCH 2008. ~ In order to maintain an organized and peaceful atmosphere please abide by the following rules: General · Please use PM for discussions with other members. Do not take over threads with personal discussions and general chitchat. · Please do not double post. This means posting straight after yourself. If you need to add something, or say something more, edit your post. · Please post in the correct forum. If your posting is not related to Michael Jackson, it would go in The Lounge instead of King of Pop Discussion, etc. · If you are wanting to post a thread, and unsure if there is a similar one, search the board to confirm that there isn't. · Give your threads a descriptive title so members know what the thread is about. · If a post from another Michael Jackson board is being copied to here, place this post in a quote with the users name and the forum. · You may only register 1 username. · If for some reason, you wish to change your username, please contact an administrator. We cannot guarantee the change, however under certain circumstances we may complete your request. · When posting an article, you must provide a valid source and post the full web address of where you copied the article from. · Released Michael Jackson material (ie songs) is not permitted here. · If you wish to leave MJJB for good for whatever reason, please do not post pointless threads suggesting that you will not be coming back. We do not tolerate attention seeking members. Discussions · At no point may you discuss topics of a sexual nature. · Topics relating to Michael Jackson's very personal life are also not allowed. · You may NOT post photos relating to Michael's children. · When referring to Michael, please use his full name or a similar shortened version. Derogatory terms such as 'w.acko' will not be tolerated. · If you are unsure whether you can make a certain thread then please PM a moderator first for advice before you post. · Respect. Please respect one anothers opinions. You are not going to agree all the time, which is why they're called opinions. Exercise agreeing to disagree. · We do not condone personal attacks on other members, if you have issues with someone else on the board, please keep it to yourself. · We will not tolerate the use of threads to hint about a member you have a problem with off the board. Do not indirectly cause trouble. If this is witnessed your post will be deleted and you will be warned. Behaviour · If a moderator closes, moves or deletes your thread/post for any reason, please respect their decision. If you feel their judgment is unfair, then use the PM feature to resolve the issue. Please treat the moderators with respect at all times. They are here for a reason. · Moderators do not see every single post on the board. Do not expect them to clean up a thread automatically. Use the report button! · Should you misbehave, you will be warned via PM. You may receive four official warnings, your fifth warning will result in a temporary ban. Coming back to the board and continuing this behavior will result in a permanent suspension. · The reasons behind the banning of a member may not be discussed on the board. If you are curious about why someone was banned, then please find out off the forum. Do not make a thread. Images · Your signature may not have any more than 3 animated gifs. If it exceeds this, it will be removed without prior warning. Signature images may be no more than 500px by 350px. · Images in posts may not exceed the forums width. This means causing your post to become wider then the default size. If this should happen, your images will be edited leaving just the link. You should then edit and resize your pictures. Random Thoughts · It has come to the teams attention that members are using the random thoughts thread or topics such as this, to cause and stir trouble. Please let it be known that the moderators do monitor these threads and will take the necessary action should your post be deemed inappropriate. Do not bring your personal issues with other members onto the board by hinting through your posts. |
